We are on our way! Our flight from Dulles to Los Angeles had us arriving mid afternoon. We are staying in LA for a few days to break the long journey, but also to see some good friends...of our children! Aaron Suplizio and Chris have been best buddies since 3rd grade. Aaron is a musical businessman and when he married Alicia a few years back in Newport Beach, we were there! They are now joined by darling 20 month old Claire. Seth Kingsley, a television writer, has been a friend of Derek's since middle school, and he lives with wife Maureen and adorable kids, Maya and Hunter, in El Secundo.

Although it is cool here for locals (we saw them walking this morning at the beach wearing fleece and gloves!), Bill actually went swimming in our hotel's pool. Nice!
Tomorrow we board our flight for the long flight to Sydney!
